ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Graphite Club is a publicly top secret overground organization consisting of exactly one human serving as both Illustrator and Printmaker - his name is Jake Rathkamp.
Jake creates narrative driven illustrations inspired by the natural world which are often spun to craft some element of magical realism. All work starts with an original pencil drawing on paper and is screen printed in-house (or more literally; in-garage) in Columbus, OH.
He has been working on posters and artwork as The Graphite Club since 2016 and has been lucky to create posters and illustrations for a wide variety of clients and applications.
There is a strong chance he is in the middle of drawing another tree right now.
