COLLABORATION FOR A CAUSE: HELP SUPPORT LOCAL MUSICIAN VIA HAAM
A portion of proceeds will raise money and awareness for HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for greater Austin’s low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inspired by Austin's original local gathering spot, the western saloon, Brad Albright developed this unique take on could have been Austin's beloved live music origin.
Brad Albright is Dallas-based artist and freelance illustrator best known for his modern approach to old school 3D poster art. His drawn work celebrates a shared love of pop-culture, music and gaming while presenting them in interactive ways that use dimensionality and nostalgia to blur the line between fine art and fun.
Brad earned his BFA in Combined Media at Cornell’s College of Architecture, Art, & Planning and later attended Hartford Art School’s low-residency MFA in Illustration while simultaneously working full-time in Dallas as a graphic designer, licensed merch designer, associate professor of illustration, and Etsy shop owner. He now works full-time as an independent artist and freelance illustrator.
Clients include Live Nation, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, comedian Marc Maron, Stern Pinball, Texas Pinball Festival, and ACL Music Festival.
